The Wala company has expanded its portfolio with new types of roller hinges. The WR1R - single-row hinge variant has been joined by the WR-2R - double-row hinge, which, as the name suggests, is distinguished by two rows of fasteners. This variety in the offer ensures a more optimal selection of hinges in terms of stiffness, insulation and price. Along with the new roller hinge proposition, the company introduces several changes. From now on, the WR-1R and WR-2R roller hinges will be sold partially folded, which will significantly speed up and simplify their installation on the door. The mounting system for counter plates, strengthens the stiffness of the hinge. Going further, additional insulating elements in the hinges have been used, which have a positive effect on the thermal insulation of the construction. And from now on, black fixing screws will be used to enhance the visual value of the roller hinges.
The main difference between WR-1R and WR-2R is in the mounting kit. The WR-2R roller hinge has a frame and door leaf mounting base with two rows of fasteners, which has a very favorable arrangement in case of outward opening doors. The first row of fasteners is in a thermal break, and the second row is firmly embedded in the aluminum. Both rows of fasteners are assembled with a steel-plastic counterplate includes fixed sleeves, which gives us a solid and durable hinge fastening.
From the outside, single-row and double-row hinges do not differ from each other, they are subtle, modest and elegant. They allow for visual adjustment to the door and the frame using the full RAL palette, ANODES and sublimation imitating wood. Reliable and durable roller hinges are tested for the highest strength class, which means that they can be used in emergency exit doors.
